Yes you guessed right Landlords do not like bad credit and hardly consider an application under these circumstances. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule.
Salary:
To be able to qualify for an apartment you should make an average of 40 to 50 times the rent as a minimum gross annual income, have been employed for at least one year and have good credit. Some times a Guarantor (Cosigner) and good credit is all you will need.
Is this a safe Building? or a safe area?:
As a general rule we do not recommend any area or particular building. If after you see the apartment you do not feel comfortable that only means that you should not take the apartment.
Is the rent negotiable?:
If the apartment is a good deal, you can be sure the rent is not negotiable and if the apartment is not a good deal, you probably would not want to take it in the first place
